Webinar: Improving Workforce Development for Youth and Young Adults With Disabilities

The Workforce Professionals Development Foundation is pleased to host a special webinar to present current and emerging work to improve workforce development for youth and young adults with disabilities.

In 2019, the US Department of Labor’s Office of Disability Employment Policy launched a new endeavor called the Center for Advancing Policy on Employment for Youth (CAPE Youth) to equip policy makers with evidenced based research, tools, and resources to ensure that services for all youth and young adults with disabilities are designed and implemented to lead to successful education, employment, and economic outcomes.

We will discuss current trends in state policy, new laws and rules that impact service delivery, and how to improve professional and career development opportunities for youth service providers.
