IAWP Workforce Summit Attendees Help Injured Veterans With Contribution To Dog Tag Buddies

During the Workforce Summit in Salem, Oregon, attendees participated in events to provide financial support to Dog Tag Buddies. Dog Tag Buddies is a Montana based nonprofit association that provides veterans with hidden injuries with rescue dogs to improve their quality of life through training and ongoing support.

Dog Tag Buddies was founded by DeeDe Baker who is a long-time member of IAWP.  As a Workforce Professional, DeeDe spent the bulk of her career at the Montana Department of Labor as an unemployment investigator and adjudicator, eventually retiring as a business and security analyst.  DeeDe has grown Dog Tag Buddies from a kitchen table conversation to the organization it is today.

DeeDe is the wife of a combat veteran who saw the relief their own dogs brought her husband when he returned from Operation Iraqi Freedom in 2005. Her love of dogs and desire to help Montana veterans drives her passion for Dog Tag Buddies, and has become her true calling in life.

Thanks to Workforce Summit attendees for your generous support of Dog Tag Buddies. Donations help veterans with hidden injuries and dogs looking for a forever home.

Dog Tag Buddies is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization. All donations are tax deductible. Please donate here.
