IAWP Members Invited to Attend: A Transgender Veteran’s Story: Navigating Career Challenges

The North Dakota Chapter of IAWP is excited to invite you to a special Lunch and Learn session featuring Bradley Aune, a Transgender Veteran, Professional, and Diversity Advocate. The session will take place on March 22nd from 12:00 to 1:00 PM Central.

Bradley has a unique perspective on employment and diversity, having lived through a range of experiences in her life. She will be sharing her life journey, from her younger days, through the military, to where she is today. With over 25 years of experience in diversity education, Bradley is a recognized expert in the field and has presented at universities, community, state, and national events.

As a veteran herself, Bradley specializes in working with transitioning service members and homeless Veterans, particularly those with disabilities, to help them overcome barriers to employment. She served 22 years in the military as an active-duty Marine Corps Infantryman and member of the North Dakota Army National Guard. She is also a recipient of the Bronze Star Medal for her leadership in Iraq and the 2015 recipient of the Disabled American Veterans National Employment Service Award.

Bradley’s personal story and professional experience make her an excellent speaker to help workforce professionals understand the unique challenges and opportunities facing Veterans and transgender individuals in the workforce. Don’t miss this opportunity to learn from a true expert in the field of diversity and employment.
