The IAWP awards program acknowledges and recognizes individuals and groups for outstanding achievement and contributions to IAWP and workforce programs.
The awards process has been simplified and focuses on achievement, innovation and making a positive difference. The new awards program will take effect for the 2017 contest year.
The IAWP Board recently approved new supporting documentation and announced the following new awards:
- Innovation in Workforce Development
- Service to IAWP
- Chapter Excellence
Featured Presenter
IAWP Awards Chair, Linda DeMore will lead the discussion. Linda also serves as the Chief Financial Officer at the Illinois Department of Employment Security. As longtime leaders, both Linda and Sharon Mike dedicated countless hours toward enhancing the Awards Program.
