Eric McElvenny is a former Marine and amputee Ironman who, following a third tour of duty in Afghanistan, suffered the amputation of his right leg after stepping on an IED.
Faced with a physical challenge and an uncertain future, Mr. McElvenny made a promise to himself to run an Ironman Triathlon, which he accomplished in Hawaii in 2013. During his journey, Mr. McElvenny realized that the adversity he faced and the techniques he employed to reach the finish line could serve professionals in their day-to-day challenges.
Join us at the 2017 Workforce Development Conference for this inspiring program wherein Mr. McElvenny will exemplify character as a choice and show us how to utilize attitude, goals, perspective, priorities and faith to garner the motivation and strength necessary to inspire in today’s workplace.
The IAWP 2017 Workforce Development Conference is planned for June 18-21 at the Hilton Orange County/Costa Mesa.
